Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney and Galaxy Communications President Ed Levine announced today that Wegmans Lights on the Lake program is scheduled to illuminate the park again this season, beginning on November 13th.
“Lights on the lake is a signature holiday event in Onondaga County,” said County Executive Joanie Mahoney. “We are entering our third year of partnership with Galaxy Communications and have no doubt it will be better than ever. They have taken a great event and made it even better.”
The public-private partnership has allowed the continuation and growth of an already successful program in Onondaga Lake Park, illustrated by a second straight record setting year for number of visitors in 2011. "With all the new enhancements at Lights On The Lake and our great First Night lineup this collaboration between The County and Galaxy should be the most successful year yet,” said Ed Levine, President and CEO of Galaxy Communications.
