Oneida Shores Park
Cross Country Skiing and more can be enjoyed this winter...
The trail is approximately 1 1/4 mile long, marked with yellow diamond trail markers,and travels around the ridge between the Cicero Swamp and the McKinley Reserved Area. A beginner level trail, with only two small inclines to navigate, it runs through a climax hardwood forest and open fields at the McKinley Shelters. Trail access is from the parking lot at the West McKinley Shelter parking lot.

Camping
Create an overnight adventure and enjoy your choice of over 50 shaded lake view campsites - spaces for tents and self-contained RV's and sites with electric and water, all with individual parking areas, picnic tables, grills and hot showers, plus free beach and boat launch access during beach hours, are all available for your convenience. 2010 site reservations are now available. The campgrounds will be open weekends only April 30-May 23, daily May 28-Labor Day and weekends only thru mid-October (weather permitting). $20-$22 per night for basic sites; $26-$28 per night with power. Firewood Alert - A new regulation is now in effect that prohibits the import of firewood into New York unless it has been heat treated to kill pests. The regulation also limits the transportation of untreated firewood to less than 50 miles from its source. Click here for more information.

Boating
A paved launch accommodates boats of all sizes. Open dawn to dusk during fishing season. Click here for more Boat Launch Information.
Off season, boaters are asked to donate $5 per launch in our honor box located at the launch.

Fishing
Catch the big one on bountiful Oneida Lake! Muskrat Bay Fishing area is a great spot to surface fish for bass, while the launch breakwall can be productive for a variety of species - Be careful on the rocks!
Arrowhead Lodge
A secluded forest setting, wall -length fieldstone fireplace and complete kitchen facilities make this year-round facility ideal for business retreats or meetings, weddings, showers, reunions and other large events. Oneida Shores County Park is open year-round and season passes are also available. Our carry in-carry out policy helps protect the environment and litter bags are provided for your convenience. No glass is allowed and alcohol is limited to one six pack per legal adult. No beer kegs. All areas of the park are accessible and pets, if brought to the park, must be on a leash not longer than 6', inoculated for rabies, and never left unattended. Pets are not allowed on the beach.
