An ideal bicycle experience with surprises including some great architecture as well as fine fishing holes.

The four mile stone dust Jordan Level Trail is part of the Western Canalway and can be accessed from the Sims Store in Camillus, the Village Park in Jordan, Laird Road and McDonald Rd. This link is part of the Erie Canalway Trail National Heritage Corridor which will eventually span all of Upstate New York. The Canalway Trail is being developed by the New York State Canal Corporation.

    In accordance with New York State law all dogs must be restrained by a leash or chain not more than six feet in length, every dog owner must have a dog license tag attached to their dog’s collar and it shall be the duty of each dog owner or person having possession, custody or control of a dog to remove any feces left by his or her dog on any public park property.

    The Jordan Level trail is a nearly 5 mile long stone dust trail that connects the historic erie Canal towpath in Camillus to the path in Cayuga county. This trail is just one piece of the scenic Erie Canal byway that stretches across the entire state of NY from Buffalo to Albany.
