Onondaga Lake Park Pickleball Courts Grand Opening Celebration NEXT WEEK

The public is invited to celebrate the Grand Opening of the all-new, 12 court Onondaga Lake Park Pickleball Complex on Wednesday, August 16 from 10:00am-1:00pm. County Executive Ryan McMahon will join Parks Commissioner Brian Kelley for the 10:00am ribbon cutting which will be followed by demos and pickup games. The free event will include music, food trucks and door prizes.
The lakeside courts are now available for open play from 6:00am - Dusk. Players can visit CNY Pickleball to sign up for specific times and/or skill levels. There is no charge to use the courts. Future plans include clinics, leagues, introductory sessions and more.
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the nation and in addition to meeting resident demands, these new courts are part of the county’s efforts to provide quality amenities at county parks for everyone to enjoy.
The complex is located in the Wegmans Landing Section of Onondaga Lake Park, off of Route 370/Onondaga Lake Parkway, at 106 Lake Drive in Liverpool.
